
Christian Sternad

Christian Sternad is Faculty Member at the Institute of Philosophy at the RPTU, Landau (Germany) since 2019. He studied Philosophy and History at the University of Vienna before obtaining his PhD in Philosophy in 2013. After his PhD, he has held several postdoctoral positions at the universities of Vienna (Austria), Leuven (Belgium), Darmstadt (Germany), Prague (Czech Republic) and Landau (Germany). His research areas cover phenomenology and continental philosophy. He has a special interest in early German Phenomenology (Husserl, Scheler, Heidegger, a.o.) and its further development and critique in the so-called "French Theory“.
