Conclusion

is that all there is?

Jesse Butler

pp. 161-164

Abstract

In this book, I have provided a pluralist framework for understanding introspection and self-knowledge. Introspection is not a single faculty of the mind, as is commonly thought, but rather a heterogeneous collection of different kinds of first-person experiences and cognitive processes, with a variety of different epistemic qualities. In closing, I will summarize the main features of this account.
