Abstract

In all civilizations of all times, astrologers have been relied on to predict the future. Not too long ago, they were rudely displaced by scientists. Nowadays, the scientists' services in futurology are widely sought by businesses and governments, and their expertise is amply rewarded. Scientists miss no occasion to regale the world with ponderous descriptions about the shape of things to come.
